Following on the heels of the success of the Star Lake showstring in Denver those same genetics were offered in our "Stock Show Connection" Internet Sale and found a very active following.
Over 350 total bids were placed between the single heifer lot and the fourteen embryo lots offered in the Internet sale that took place from January 14th through the bid off on the evening of the 18th. There were a total of 68 active bidders on these exciting packages. For the bid off on Monday night over 115 people were logged on to watch the action.
The sale grossed $35,325 and averaged $668.75 on the 44 embryos offered. The heifer that was featured, STAR KKH Keypen-D-Karma 3W ET is a full sister to Valedictorian. She was listed as Lot 1 and was sold for $5900. The high selling embryo lot consisted of three embryos out of the dam of the Lot 1 heifer - past Denver National Champion STAR Spiridge Kessey 321L. The sire of the embryos is CRR About Time 743 - himself a past Denver National Champion. The high bid on this powerful set of embryos was $1750 each.
